Update – Health Issues

Yoga 3 WordPress

I thought I would keep everything on the down low, but I guess it’s time to tell you what happened to me since many of you wondered why I haven’t been blogging for 2 months.

I was busy at first and hence I put blogging aside. However, I started to notice my sleeping patterns getting worse than ever. I thought it wasn’t a major issue as I always have poor sleeping patterns. You know when you can’t sleep well, you will find it hard to concentrate on whatever you do. The same happened to me and the worst part was my body started aching. I also noticed that there were some weird bumps spreading all over my face, which wasn’t normal to me as I always have clear skin and I rarely have acne. Even if I have, I will only have a few. After seeing my doctor, I finally came to know I have Anemia.

I know I have to focus on my health first before I can blog and check your blog again. Please let me thank you for being patient and supportive. I would like to wish you all good health and lasting prosperity as Chinese New Year is approaching. Wish you good luck in the year of the Monkey. ❤

One last wish is please don’t worry about me! The time when I’m back at blogging, I will be as healthy as the one you can see from my yoga photo. 😉

With love,

NYE is the time for me to reflect and look forward…2015 is an amazing year for me. I’m grateful for receiving lots of wonderful surprises even though there are some unpredictable ups and downs in my life. I’m happy to find myself finally becoming the person I always wanted to be. To appreciate ups and downs in my life that I let it be my mentor to guide me walking in the path I envisioned. I know there is a long road ahead of me. Whatever it is, I’ll always smile through it.

Let me take a moment to appreciate each and every single one of you who has been greatly supportive of me. I believe I can finally be the person I always wanted to be is because of you. Simply answer Dottie’s questions

I’m more than thankful being nominated twice  by  lovely  dottiedaniels . ❤ I got nominated by  her for the Liebster Award this time.  However, I was nominated for the same award before and hence I’m not going to do the whole thing again. I’ll just simply answer her questions.

My answers to the 5 questions she asked:

1. Who is your favorite person (living or deceased)? As mentioned in the previous post “No regrets”  , my grandma is a fearless person who I always look up to. She has inspired me in so many ways and of course she is my favorite person. ❤

2. What is your favorite subject to write about? Life experiences.

3. What is your favorite place in the world? Porto (Portugal) even though I’ve never traveled to before. I know I’ll love it since it is a place where it is always associated with vibrant colors which I’m always a big fan of. 🙂

4. What was your favorite toy when you were little? Teddy bear.

5. What was the last song you heard? “Set Fire To The Rain” by Adele (she is an amazing singer) ❤

Have a beautiful day everyone! 😉

No regrets

As an adult, we have countless responsibilities either from personal life or at work. Sometimes, we wish we could rewind the time back to our childhood and thus we would be back to the world with minimal responsibilities. I was one of them who had the same thoughts, especially when looking at this photo. It took me back to the time when my parents took me to different places to have fun almost every weekend. As my parents didn’t care my grades much, so I basically didn’t study much. I was just having fun every single day. I wasn’t scared of anything also even I got terribly burnt by boiling water when I was around 4 years old. It left an obvious scar on my left face. Everyone in family was really worried at that time and even sought for an advice from a doctor if I could proceed to have a plastic surgery to cover my scar. The doctor didn’t recommend it at all since I was too young to do so. I’m glad the scar has been fading pretty well year after year and it’s not very visible now. 😉  This drama didn’t stop me from trying anything. However, majority of us learn to protect ourselves more as we grow. We start to be scared or worried if we haven’t done things perfectly. We are basically scared of facing failure. Therefore, we are unable to live freely and often wish to go back to childhood. It looks like we want to escape from the reality.

Such thoughts of mine has completely disappeared when I was looking at my grandma one day. She is  currently 91 years old. She looks much younger compared to those at the same age. She is always full of energy and still shouts at my cats loudly when they get naughty. I can’t recall a time when she is scared of something. I remember back when she was close 80 years old and still wanted to take a roller coaster ride. Obviously, we stopped her from doing that and I  asked her why she was always excited for thrill rides. She told me that there was no thrill rides when she was younger and we only live once in our lives. Hence, she wishes to try as many thrill rides as she could. Her bold and fearless attitude got me thinking the escape from reality is not necessary. The only matter is your perspective and attitude towards reality. No matter the end result is good or not,  there is no harm in trying. At least we have no regrets in the end. 🙂

Stay motivated and positive ❤ ,

7 facts about me:

1. I wasn’t an artist all my life. In fact, I hated drawing and couldn’t draw in the past. When I turned 17 years old, I had to an art class and forced to make some art portfolios for my homework. Even though someone found me having artistic potentials at that time, I still dropped that subject as I didn’t enjoy drawing at that time. However, I found myself fascinated by different art pieces in the past few years. Under an encouragement of a good friend of mine, I started to make art pieces this year only. It is also why you all see the digital artworks my friend and I created.

2. English is not my first language. In fact, I couldn’t understand a single word from my English teacher when I first went overseas for studying because I was one of the laziest kid in the world who didn’t really study. All I did was basically play, eat and sleep. I only started to study hard after I turned 17 years old and it was also the time I went overseas for studying. So, you might my English is pretty weak.  In case you wonder where I went for studying, I actually went to Sydney for studying.

3. I was very allergic to eggs when I was a kid. So, I wasn’t allowed to eat eggs. However, I really love the taste of eggs. Remember one time when I ate ten eggs at a time and got caught by my mom because she found there were tons of eggshells in the bin lol. 😉

4. I love listening to music. I don’t care what language it is. Even though I don’t understand what the song is about, I will still listen to it if I like the music.

5. I was quite overweight compared to those who live in the same country in the past. I lost almost 40 pounds after I started to eat healthy and do yoga few years ago. I’m glad I’m able to maintain a healthy weight from that time until now. I also realized I just ate too much junk food in the past (I still eat junk food from time to time now 🙂 ) and we can do pretty much whatever we want if we put our mind to it.

6. I love to eat vegetables. Sometimes, I can eat a kilogram of it at a time. Although I really love vegetables, I don’t like carrots at all. I’m now making myself to eat more carrots as they are very good for health.

7. My lips are very easy to chap, so i just can’t live without my chapstick. I have to bring it with me wherever I go.
