Before Saying Goodbye

Honestly, a dozen cats are more than enough for my family but our kitty family just happens to keep growing. I guess they just enjoy having their lovey-dovey time a lot. We now have more cats than we expected. We reach a point where we can’t take care of them all, so we have to give some of our kittens to our friends. A cat lover like me obviously is not willing to do so but we have no option. The only thing I can do is to take some pictures of them to keep these memories alive.

This little kitten rested gently in my hands made me feel like a mom for the first time. I started imagining how to raise her as a good kid and what to put on her to make her the prettiest. The time I had with her was magical and I would love to spend some more time bonding with her if I could. However, what I did already aroused Silly B’s jealousy.

She stared at me as if I just murdered her whole family. I knew she didn’t mean it. All she wanted was to capture my attention and be my model. She stood patiently without blinking her eyes to ensure all pictures I took were perfect. I must say she was one of the best cat models I’ve ever seen. The patience she had amazed me. I somehow thought she looked like a cardboard kitten without blinking her eyes in this photo lol 😀

Suddenly, Mi Mi came near me and started crying. I thought she wasn’t feeling well at first, but then I realized that she just wanted me to play with her. Gosh! How could I not to…? (her teary and innocent eyes urged me to play with her wholeheartedly)

Look! I was corrected about what she wanted. Her tears evaporated the moment I played with her. Was it trick or something? Well, I really didn’t care as she was too cute to resist.

After running here and there, she felt extremely exhausted.  Then she demanded a relaxing massage from me. I thought I was the only Queen at home. Now I know I’m such a loser next to her lol 😛 😀

My Queen of Blur

A while back I saw a lot of you joined the blurry photo challenge and it somehow inspired me to create this post. My lovely kitten “babe babe” has recently become a favourite of mine and I always wanted to take some photos of her. Unfortunately, I can hardly capture her because she loves to stick with me all the time. Whenever I have to use bathroom, she will wait outside the bathroom. Whenever I try to take a shower, she will try to sneak in. Whenever I try to take pictures of her, she will use her sweetest tricks to keep meowing and walking around my legs in order to distract me from shooting and make me play with her. Therefore, the pictures of her often came out blurry. But well I guess blurry pictures can be good, especially she is such a cutie. ❤

Queen 1

This is the look she often gives when she wants me to play with her.

I think she looks like a little squirrel in this photo. What do you think?

QQ 1

Look! This is exactly the trick she used to distract me. How can I escape from her sweetest playful wink? 😛

Babe 2

This is what you should do when you have an itchy scalp 😀

Babe 222

Just keep doing it if it is still itchy 😛

Babe 22

Hey mommy! Check my teeth!!! Aren’t they perfectly clean and shiny (I just brushed them hehe)? 😉

Babe b

I don’t do spray tan or anything, but I do take natural tanning seriously. Wanna join me mommy? 😛

QQQ 1

This is the face she makes when she is not being playful. Somehow she looks like she is begging me for treats 😀

Hope you all enjoy this post! Have a wonderful day! ❤

Day 5 – 5 Day Black & White/ Monochrome Photo Challenge

Day 5 Black and White Photo first

Ever since I started blogging here on WordPress, I noticed that my life has gone more vibrant than what it is. I got to see different parts of the world through all the gorgeous pictures captured by all of you brilliant photographers. It took me on a trip after trip with full of surprises and excitements. I got to see all the amazing art pieces created by all of you creative artists. It took me on a ride through one of the most incredible art galleries I’ve ever seen. I got to read all the wonderful stories and poems written by all of you talented writers. It allowed me to live in a world of fantasy. I got to try out all the delicious recipes posted by all of you amazing chefs. It sensationalized all the food I tried out from your lovely recipes. Most importantly, I got to be surrounded by a pool of talents who put all your heart and soul to do what you love inspired me to do the same. I’m thankful for having all of you as my dear friends who inspire and support me each and every day. I’m even more thankful for having JK as my lovely friend who took this picture of me and also the one who noticed the artistic side of me. You motivated me to create artworks and take pictures when there was no one believed I could do it. You were the one who took many pictures of me and initiated the idea of making digital art pieces with me out of the pictures we took in Amsterdam. What you did to inspire me was definitely the motive which encouraged me to open a WordPress account initially to share whatever I’ve experienced with the world. Without what you did to me, I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to meet all my talented friends here. I truly am blessed to have all of you as a part of life ❤  Billion thanks to you and JK! 🙂

Day 4 – 5 Day Black & White/ Monochrome Photo Challenge

HK 1

About a month ago, my friend and I went to one of favourite spots to chit chat and have some cocktails. It was very cloudy and raining pretty heavily, but glad we could still see a stunning view like this under a terrible weather. The view somehow initiated my thoughts about Hong Kong. I always complain how crowded and polluted Hong Kong is, but I don’t seem to appreciate Hong Kong enough. It may be very crowded. It may be highly polluted. However, it certainly has its own beauty and uniqueness (e.g. the food, the skyscrapers, the diverse cultures, the infrastructure, etc). Instead of complaining, I should focus on the good to generate more positive energies in order to live a happy life. 🙂

Day 3 – 5 Day Black & White/ Monochrome Photo Challenge

Canal 1

The first time I traveled to Amsterdam, I instantly felt in love with it. I can hardly explain the love I have for this unique place and therefore I created quite a lot of artworks using Amsterdam as the background of my artworks to express my feelings and love. I saw tons of beautiful scenery and architectures there, but nothing could compare to its canals. I remembered when I was sitting on their famous dinner cruise exploring the city, I saw one of the most gorgeous scenes I have ever seen in my life. It was when the canal lights started to light up and its reflections hit the river created one of the most gorgeous abstract arts. It’s 2 years already, but this scene is still stuck in my mind. ❤

When Spring Brings In Good Old Memories

Tree 1

Bee in action 1

Bee Bee

I always thought what I love the most about Spring was only when the plants went luscious green and the flowers started blooming. It is a scene I always fancy since it gives me rejuvenating feelings which I feel like everything has begun to reborn. I still have the same feelings about it. However, my thoughts about Spring has changed slightly when I walked pass Clausena Lansium tree my grandfather planted unintentionally long back. He threw a seed of Clausena Lansium in our backyard after having the fruits of Clausena Lansium more than twenty years ago and it somehow grew into a big Clausena Lansium tree. Unfortunately, he can’t be here to see this tree is still going strong even after so many years. However, I’m glad that my grandfather left this precious gift to my grandmother who can still feel his presence and spirits through this luscious tree. I know it means more than just a gift. In fact, it is what feeds her soul. It seriously means a lot to her. I truly hope the tree keeps growing healthily! Also, I would like to thank the sun and the bees for taking extra care of this precious tree apart from the massive amount of care she has been putting into! ❤ Moreover, I would like to thank Spring for bringing me good old memories which made it extra special! 😉

Magical Instant Boost

Sunset

I always try my best to stay as positive as I can, but I must say I also have one of those days not feeling my best…feeling moody…feeling a bit down…Whenever I encounter such an unpleasant mood attack, I usually take eating as a kind of therapy to cure my mood swing. The day I shot this picture was exactly the day I was feeling a bit down because I wasn’t really happy with my job searching situation.  So, same as usual I just wanted to eat. I felt like eating fish meat siu mai all of the sudden even I just finished having late lunch not long ago. The moment I stepped outside the train station to go buy siu mai was when the magical moment happened. I saw a marvelous sky doing its dancing show beautifully. Seriously,it has never happened in where I live before. I felt like God has well listened to my inner voice which he knows how much I love beautiful skies and therefore he made it happen to uplift my mood. I’m honestly blessed and grateful for this wonderful gift. It somehow told me no matter how bad the situation can get, there is always something positive waiting for you. 🙂

As promised before, riddle answers will be posted this week. Here it is:

1. Dragon

2. Goat/Ram/Sheep

3. Thermometer

Congratulations to those who got all of them right 😉
